Airboards, bikes, jet shoes, flying carpets, and all other manner of one-man vehicles designed for high speed flight. All Gears are constructed with a unique, lighter-than-air material developed (or perhaps stolen) by the ancient Babylonians. Most professional riders (particularly the Babylon rogues) use custom Gears, but mass-marketed models are available from the Robotnik and Accevice corporations.

Gears come in six basic varieties:

• Board Style: Basic flat panel Gears. Many Board type Gears can morph into other Styles with enough Rings.
• Air Ride Style: Wide boards that allow the rider to fly through Dash Rings.
• Bike Style: Motorcycle Gears that tend to be a bit slow, but allow the rider to barrel through heavy obstacles.
• Skate Style: Speedy airshoes that allow the wearer to grind along rails.
• Wheel Style: Unique wheel-shaped gears.
• Yacht Style: Gears steered with wind power.
