It should have a dream/ vision called something like "Bullet Boulevard" where you can only damage marens with razorblades near their necks while you evade their uzzi shower, but then the collision detection glitches lock the game and the textures all start to warp simultaneously like if it was programmed for the PSX by a retarded 12yo.
Then the Deluxe/ Director's cut version would add Time attack (in the first one the programmers forgot to add a timer altogether to begin with) and missions to find hidden nightopians as either Claris, Elliot, Dark Elliot's twin, Macaulay Culkin or Haley Joel Osment's step-cousin.

I really [don't] expect to see Reala in a huge cape with a long trident in his hands (I say his because he has these manly, big muscles).
Also, there's a topic about the game in Sonic Team's website.
And I just noted how well designed NiGHTS' buttocks are. Soft, sexy curve.

It's been done before....art for "Sonic Pinball Party".ChaosAngelZero wrote:Ditto... and I'm wondering how a "Yuji Uekawa-style" NiGHTS would look like? I mean, hand-drawn.

Hum, it looks somehow uninspired, non-wacky. Boring (still stylish, but boring).
I find this podcast creepy, great and fucked up... then really creepy.

Reala had muscles? Wow, I'd actually never noticed that before. No, really! I'd just assumed his arms were more or less identical to NiGHTS' - that is to say, relatively nondescript.
Anyway, I'm not too surprised that Reala's the main badguy, honestly... He was always NiGHTS' rival of sorts, anyway.

OK, and after an onslaught of Swedish and Portuguese magazines' scans, here comes Official Nintendo Magazine UK WORLD EXCLUSIVE! info. All the rest at TRiPPY's place.

I believe Uekawa did a drawing of NiGHTS. There's one on the back of my Sonic Pinball Party box. At least, I THINK Uekawa drew it. Looks SA-ish.ChaosAngelZero wrote:Ditto... and I'm wondering how a "Yuji Uekawa-style" NiGHTS would look like?

The only person that is still in ST that was involved with the original NiGHTS is Iizuka.Arcade wrote:I thought that most of Sonic Team original members don’t work for Sega anymore, as least not like “Sonic Team” and yes that includes Naka. The team that made the original Nights is gone, so after the almost sure failure we can blame all to the "new guys"

This is fairly interesting. The original composer is back on board doing the music for Journey of Dreams according to Iizuka. Not sure what to make of this though:
"The sequel is built around a dramatic storyline that will engage the player and guide them intuitively through the adventure."
