Sonic Shop, a clothing store specializing in Sonic apparel, opens in Nagoya. Sales were (unsurprisingly) poor, and the shop closed six months later
on August 21 of the same year. However, during the summer of the store's operation, merchandise made it as far as the prestigious Jean-Charles de
Castelbajac concept store in Paris.
